Our Learning This Week:   One of our most popular songs this year was the Banana Song.  This week we learned an important life lesson, which involved a real banana.  We realized that when you open a banana, you can't seal it back up.  We tried.... we used tape, glue and a stapler, but nothing was successful.  When a banana is open, it's open and you can't close it.  The same idea is with our words... when you speak, you can't take back your words.  The life lesson we learned is:   Think before you speak!  (If you want to check out our video of this lesson, it is on the google classroom) In Math, we focused on number order.  We played a game called "One, Two" and the children were very good sports about when they had to sit down.  We also went outside to do some Nature math, which involved creating sets of five.  We figured out that 20 sets of 5 equals 100!  We are getting a head-start on grade one Math!!!
