Our Learning in Kindergarten:
This week we have been thinking about colors and how they make us feel. The children enjoyed the book, The Way I Feel, and we have created self-portraits using colors based on our moods. We have also continued to discuss how to be "bucket fillers", which is using our body language and performing acts of kindness to contribute to the good feelings of others. In Math, we have continued to focus on sorting and patterns. Many of the children are eager to create and explore more complicated patterns than the standard ABABAB pattern.
NOTE: Please print off and sign the digital citizenship form that was sent home by the office earlier this week. Thanks!

Help Requested:
One of my favourite kindergarten centers is homemade playdough! However, I am having a difficult time keeping up with it because every child needs there own personal ball. If you have time and would be willing to donate a batch of playdough it would be greatly appreciated! (However, NO PRESSURE because I completely understand how busy life is with a young family! Any color you like would be great!
If you want to make some, I will include my favorite recipe, but feel free to use any recipe you like. Thanks so much!
