Our Learning This Week:
The students had a lot of fun using geoboards and elastics to create 2-D shapes. The students are eager to expand their math vocabulary with terms like; hexagon, pentagon, octagon and decagon.
We also focused on s t r e t c h i n g the words we want to write. Children are encouraged to listen for the beginning, middle and end sounds of words.
Students were all so excited about the festive holiday centers Ms. Cardone created for December.
