  Our Learning This Week:

Pink Shirt Day led to a heartfelt, meaningful conversation in the large group.  Some of the comments were, "I love pink! I love this day!"  and "those bullies didn't know about bucket filling".  Wow!  It is so encouraging to see the students embrace, understand and live the concept of EMPATHY.

Every class starts with a message to the students.  It has been absolutely phenomenal to see the growth in how the children are becoming bold and confident in this reading experience.  The students recognize so many fry words and that is largely due to your practice with them at home.  Thank you!

The students were thrilled to have a virtual presentation from a real paleontologist,  Alex Dutchak.  Every child was ecstatic to talk about dinosaurs for the remainder of the class.

Classroom Mystery:   Are these your child's black ski pants?  No one is claiming them.
